Social Media Manager

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Social Media Manager for a major entertainment company. 

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to join their Marketing team. This role is perfect for a creative, collaborative, and socially-savvy individual with a strong background in entertainment social marketing.
This is a full-time 6-month contract that is hybrid onsite Santa Monica, CA.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities: 

• Oversee multiple social marketing campaigns, including community management, creative, and strategy

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, PR, Creative, Media, Events, Brand Marketing, and Research

• Develop strong working relationships with talent, representatives, and studio partners

• Drive the organic and paid social content strategy to foster deeper conversation and earned media around original titles

• Analyze performance metrics regularly and make necessary recommendations for improvement

Social Media Manager Requirements: 

• 5+ years of professional experience in social media marketing at a streaming company or studio

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style

• A strong creative eye and point of view

• Experience managing external agencies, partners, and talent without oversight

• Proven results in building a social following across a variety of channels

• A deep understanding of the entertainment social media landscape, platform standard methodologies, and consumer behaviors

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
