As an Infrastructure Engineer at Quizizz, you'll build a resilient infrastructure platform and enable continuous delivery using modern practices. Responsibilities include ensuring the availability, scaling, performance, and monitoring of the platform hosting Quizizz services. You'll design, build, and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure and platform services, contributing to a team that continuously delivers infrastructure code and scales existing technologies. The role involves collaboration with various teams to meet current and future needs, leveraging technologies like MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, GoLang, NodeJS, and Kafka.
Must have:
- 4+ years professional experience
- 2+ years Infrastructure experience
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with distributed systems
- Proficiency in Java/Go/Python

About the Role:
The Infrastructure engineering team at Quizizz is responsible for building and operating infrastructure services and cloud technologies used by product teams to launch new product offerings that support our business. This includes defining and driving the vision necessary to achieve scale and availability which serves more than 70 Million Monthly Active Users.
What Will You Do:
- As an Infrastructure Engineer at Quizizz, you will be building a resilient infrastructure platform and enabling continuous delivery, using modern infrastructure engineering practices.
- You will be responsible for the availability, scaling, performance and monitoring of the platform which hosts Quizizz services.
- Design, build, and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure and platform services
- You'll be joining a team that continuously delivers infrastructure code, continuously invests in building new distributed services and scaling existing technologies while working with various teams to meet their current and future needs.
- Our tech stack is continuously evolving, we extensively use MongoDB, Redis, Dockers, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, GoLang, NodeJS, Kafka.
Who You Are:
- You must have at least 4+ years of professional experience with at least 2+ years of experience working on Infrastructure
- Experience using one of the major cloud providers - AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience developing, maintaining and debugging distributed systems
- You are comfortable writing code in one of the languages - Java/Go/Python
