Job Description

Enphase is seeking a Staff Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience in a technical leadership role and 4+ years of production experience with Drupal 8/9/10. Responsibilities include maintaining project quality and timelines, delegating tasks, identifying and resolving issues, mentoring team members, handling client relations, participating in requirement gathering, ensuring adequate documentation, and performing low-level design, code customization, and review. The role also involves implementing diverse engineering tasks, including gap, data, and impact analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong OOP PHP/Symfony/LAMP-stack application skills, knowledge of REST APIs, Drupal modules (Cron Jobs, Queues, Events, Services, Entity Query, Custom Entities, Caching, SSO, Paragraphs, Views, Hooks, Ajax), JavaScript, CSS, and experience with Git and AWS or similar cloud infrastructure. Experience with migrating from Drupal 7 and other tech stacks to Drupal 8/9/10 is preferred.

Must have:

7+ years exp. in technical leadership
4+ years Drupal 8/9/10 production exp.
OOP PHP/Symfony/LAMP stack skills
REST API, Drupal modules knowledge
AWS or similar cloud experience
Migration experience (Drupal 7, other stacks)

Good to have:

ReactJS and AlpineJS knowledge
High-traffic web application optimization
Decoupled/Progressive decoupled application knowledge

About the role:

Software Development engineers are skilled in solving various technical problems by effectively leveraging collaborative platforms in an ecosystem.

This opportunity allows one to independently implement diverse and complex engineering tasks through analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Software Development Engineers will get to exhibit a deep understanding of the end-to-end software life cycle and show high levels of collaboration, customer centricity and effective communication to understand requirements, analyse, provide support, deliver technical results and drive excellence.

Key responsibilities:

Software Development Engineers are responsible for maintaining the quality & timeline for the project
Effectively breakdown & delegate parts of the project to the developers
Identify issues proactively and find solutions
Mentor and guide Team Members to enhance their learning and skills in Drupal.
Handle client relations
Be part of the requirement gathering exercise
Ensure adequate documentation and provide assistance as a reliable engineer to all stakeholders at Enphase.
Independently perform low-level design configuration, code customization, refactoring, and review.
Gain expertise and demonstrate high levels of skills in the design, review, development, testing, build, and deployment stages of the software life cycle.
Responsible for implementing diverse engineering tasks including gap, data, and impact analysis.

Professional Skill Requirements:

4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
7+ years of experience with OOP PHP / Symfony / LAMP-stack applications / JWT Tokens
4+ years of production experience with Drupal 8/9/10
Good knowledge of Rest API/ Cron Job /Queue API / Event and Event Subscriber / Services / Entity Query / Custom Entities / Drupal Caching / SSO
Paragraphs / Views / Hooks / Ajax / JavaScript, CSS / Drupal Behaviours
Knowledge of multilingual site
Migration From Drupal 7 to Drupal 8/9/10
Migration From Another Tech stack to Drupal 8/9/10
Good working knowledge of using git
Experience in deploying solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other Cloud Infrastructure solutions like Pantheon/Acquia.
Should have Knowledge of decoupled or progressive decoupled application
Knowledge of performance optimization of high-traffic web application
Knowledge of ReactJs and AlpineJs is a plus.
