Deepgram is seeking an ambitious Product Manager to drive the strategy and development of its voice AI products. This role involves leading end-to-end product development, particularly for real-time streaming capabilities, and partnering with research teams to translate innovations into product features. The Product Manager will design and iterate on APIs and developer experiences, build relationships with enterprise customers to gather feedback, and drive cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include defining product strategy, success metrics, and execution plans, as well as breaking down complex technical challenges into clear milestones. The ideal candidate will have a product mindset with technical depth in ML/AI, experience shipping APIs or developer platforms, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and research teams.

Deepgram is looking for an ambitious Product Manager to support the strategy and development of Deepgram's voice AI products. As a Product Manager you will drive product design, both from an API and UI perspective, and partner with research and engineering to develop products that help us reach customer success and operational goals. Your enthusiasm and obsession for driving innovation and creating the best user experience will shine as you collaborate with customers and stakeholders to create specs, translate those into technical requirements, and deliver simple to use experiences. You will be an early member of Deepgram's product team, meaning your fingerprints will be all over the foundation of the product and its growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end product development for voice AI technologies, with particular emphasis on real-time streaming capabilities

  • Partner closely with research teams to guide development of new speech models and translate innovations into product features

  • Design and iterate on APIs and developer experiences that make complex voice technology accessible and powerful

  • Build relationships with enterprise customers to understand their needs and integrate feedback into product roadmaps

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between research, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams

  • Define product strategy, success metrics, and execution plans for new voice AI capabilities

  • Break down complex technical challenges into clear milestones and development plans

  • Experience with real-time/streaming data systems and architecture considerations

  • Track record of defining, measuring, and improving product success metrics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

It Would Be Great If You Had

  • Experience with speech recognition, NLP, or voice AI technologies

  • Background working with enterprise customers on technical integration needs

  • Understanding of developer experience best practices

  • Experience balancing self-service and enterprise customer needs

  • Strong understanding and working experience with design-thinking best practices to deliver industry-defining digital products and experiences

Salary range of USD $180,000 to $220,000 base plus variable and equity regardless of location
