  • Reports to:          Sales Manager South EU
  • Location:             Remote
  • Job Type:             Full Time, Permanent

We are looking for a Territory Manager to cover the Center and the South of Italy.

Responsabilities

  • Increase Trek’s share for the territory and at the same time increase Trek’s brand position 
  • Responsible for developing and executing in-market plans, from adding (partner) dealers to store takeovers 
  • Responsible for developing and executing in-store plans, from stocking new ranges to remodelling of stores 
  • Develop sales strategy in cooperation with the core team and keep dealers informed, for example regarding 
  • Dealer program 
  • Launch events 
  • New channels 
  • Conduct market research to understand the competitive environment 
  • Work closely with marketing on marketing plans, intro’s & communication via email, web, POP and B2B 
  • Increase (business) knowledge at our dealer base, be a trusted business consultant to them 

 

Sales 

  • Work with Sales Manager in setting overall targets and splitting those per territory 
  • Reporting on sales numbers 
  • Stimulate use of sales reporting tools 
  • Look at stock position and initiate sales promo’s in order to close out products in time 
  • Work with credit management regarding credit risks 
  • Participate in "Win the Season" Events with dealers
  • Visit dealers - 75% of travelling required

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Fluent Italian, & English. Additional language is a plus.
  • Experience in the cycling industry
  • 5 years of experience in a Sales position
