SUMMARY
WONGDOODY APAC has brought together a world-class team of creative experts in strategy and innovation, multi-channel user experience, visual design, technology and delivery. We are looking for a Snr. User Experience Designer (end-end UX) in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. In this role, you’ll help develop and evolve onboarding experiences for direct customers within the financial sector. Together with our teams you will consult and support multiple streams of customer experience. You´ll be part of our growing consulting team focussed on financial services and experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building out user flows
- Producing low/medium-fidelity wireframes
- Conducting user-testing
- Work with stakeholders to define design requirements and iterate on these
- Facilitate ideation and co-design sessions with product teams
- Work with UI designers so they can move from medium to high fidelity
- Completion of sprint stories and delivery of research, insights and design.
- Documentation creation for scenarios and UX flows.
- Testing of concepts and flows with bankers and customers
- Stakeholder review/testing of concepts.
Experience / Role Requirements
- Strong interaction designer.
We are doing detailed flows and interaction design. Ideally, you'll be able to inspire our team and improve every detail of every screen and flow, - Highly competent with rapid concept development and prototyping,
- Competent using the usual tools (Figma, XD, Sketch and Invision etc),
- Great communications skills and ability to work with executive team members,
- Delivery of rapid concepting, Interaction Design (i.e. not just happy day screens, but also flows and mapping).
- Overall Experience Design for both short-term and long-term goals.
- Self-starter and reliable team member,
- Happy to work at pace, delivering iteratively.
- Observant and articulate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience working at a digital agency as an Information Architect / Experience Designer / Product Designer / UX Designer
- Experience in creating mobile, tablet and web experiences for Enterprise organisations
- Portfolio of key projects delivered in past years, calling out your role on the project, deliverables responsible and successes achieved.
- Excellent communication skills (both in conversation and in writing) and a portfolio which demonstrates strong problem-solving ability in various phases of design and delivery
- Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for mobile customer experiences
- Experience developing detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns
- Worked within collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver multiple, successful projects
- Ability to travel abroad
- A sense of humour!
BONUS ROUND
- The ability to create functional prototypes for touch screen devices
- Experience with designing, setting up and conducting user testing and research studies
- Experience creating digital strategies and content strategies
- Experience in the financial sector, and
- Working with remote and International stakeholders and teams.
