Job Description

As a Platform Support Engineer for PlayStation Network, you'll support teams providing services on the network, ensuring efficient use of infrastructure while meeting security requirements. This involves configuring cloud networking, managing accounts and permissions, managing traffic (DNS, Firewall, CDN), and configuring observability tools. You'll collaborate closely with international teams on global technical implementations, tool selection, and process improvements. The role requires experience managing thousands of servers, large-scale network services, and secure account/permission management for numerous users. Proficiency in English is essential due to frequent collaboration with overseas teams.

Must have:

Public cloud service experience
Large-scale network configuration and traffic management
Security framework & compliance knowledge
Python/Go programming
Monitoring tools & APM experience
Business-level English & Japanese

Good to have:

IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Excellent communication skills

PlayStation Networkは全世界で1億人を超えるアクティブユーザーを有しており、ユーザーの反応をダイレクトに感じられる環境の中で、ユーザーに最高のエクスペリエンスを提供すべく、さらなる発展に向けて日々チャレンジしています。

所属予定のチームでは、PlayStation Network上でサービスを提供しているチーム向けに、セキュリティ要件を満たしたネットワークの設定や各種権限管理など、プラットフォームチームが提供するインフラ基盤の効率的な利用をサポートする業務を担います。海外のチームと密に連携し、より効率的、省力的に業務を進めるための技術導入、ツール選定、プロセス改善をグローバルで行います。

[主な業務]

・セキュリティ要件を満たしたクラウドネットワーキングの設定、運用

・セキュリティ要件を満たした各種ツールのアカウント発行、権限管理、プロセス策定

・DNS、Firewall、CDNなどのトラフィックマネジメントに関する設定、運用

・システムのObservabilityに関するツールの設定、運用

数千台規模のサーバーシステム管理の経験がある方、大規模なネットワークサービスにおいてネットワーク設定やセキュリティ向上施策を行った経験のある方、多数のユーザーが利用するツールにおいてセキュアなアカウント管理、権限管理の経験がある方がマッチします。また他部署や海外チームとの連携が日常的にあるため、英語でのコミュニケーションは必須となります。

PlayStation Networkの企画・設計・開発・運用を担っているエンジニアリング部門です。

PlayStationのライフサイクルを構成する、クライアントソフトウェアからゲームコンテンツ配信・販売機能、オンラインゲーム機能、ソーシャルコミュニティ機能等のプラットフォームサービスまで、幅広くコンシューマーやゲームデベロッパーへサービスを提供しています。

チーム内外問わず、技術、コスト、効率といったことをフラットに議論できる職場です。職業柄ゲームが好きな社員が多く、PlayStationに対する思い入れも強いです。

本ポジションのチームは、USのチームと密接にコミュニケーション・コラボレーションが必要なため、英語の活用や出張の機会も多くあります。

■ 必要とされる専門性・経験

以下のうち、複数のスキル、経験を持つ方を歓迎します。

- パブリッククラウド環境でのサービス構築、運用経験

- 大規模なネットワークサービスにおける、ネットワーク設定経験、トラフィックマネジメント経験

- セキュリティフレームワークとコンプライアンス標準に関する知識

- PythonやGoなどの複数のプログラミング言語の利用経験

- 監視ツール、APMの活用経験

- CloudFormationやTerraformなどのIaCツールの設計と導入の経験

- ビジネスレベルの日本語・英語能力

- 顧客や同僚との良好なコミュニケーション能力
