Job Description

This Account Manager position within Google's Apps Team focuses on large customer sales, requiring fluency in English and Mandarin. Responsibilities involve driving customer growth, conducting market analysis to identify opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders on marketing campaigns, and sharing best practices. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in digital advertising, sales, or marketing. Success depends on strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, coupled with the ability to meet deadlines and understand client needs to develop effective advertising strategies across Google's product range (search, video, mobile).
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience in digital advertising/sales
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Client relationship management
  • Market analysis and strategy development
  • Collaboration with internal/external stakeholders
Good to have:
  • Experience in advertising sales and media account management
  • Spreadsheet/analysis and presentation skills
  • Project management skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales and media account management.
  • Experience with spreadsheets/analysis and presentations.
  • Ability to strategically think and analyze the needs of clients.
  • Ability to meet productivity standards and deadlines.
  • Excellent business sense, problem-solving, project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners to drive the growth of an assigned customer/vertical.
  • Conduct analysis of industry, markets, and audience to develop opportunities for customers and the vertical.
  • Summarize insights and best practices actively, and share them within the team and vertical.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, drive strategy and execution of advertiser's marketing campaigns.
