Job Description

The Account Manager at Barracuda Networks is responsible for managing accounts, exceeding sales quotas, and leveraging consultative selling to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within defined territories in California. This role requires building relationships with SMB clients, working with partner sales personnel, delivering effective sales presentations, and creating accurate forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess strong consultative selling skills, knowledge of Barracuda products, and experience in account management. Responsibilities include identifying business challenges, creating solutions, maintaining knowledge of industry trends, and meeting sales objectives.

Envision Yourself at Barracuda 
The Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts across defined sales territories. They leverage consultative selling approaches to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, facilitate communication on customer’s business problems, and meet/exceed sales quotas. They also use a consultative approach to educate customers and assist in sales process improvements. 


What you’ll be working on 
  • Builds relationships with SMB clients across defined sales territories, and meets/exceeds assigned sales quotas 
  • Leverages consultative selling approaches to identify business challenges and create solutions for customers 
  • Works with partner sales personnel to extend reach and drive adoption of the Barracuda products and solutions 
  • Delivers effective sales demonstration and presentations, covering the Barracuda Networks portfolio effectively 
  • Supports in creating clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through developing a detailed territory plans 
  • Facilitates complex accounts and transaction reporting to the account managers and leadership team 
  • Maintains continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that affect target markets 
  • Meets sales objectives and supports in development of go to market strategy for partnership 
  • Utilizes a consultative selling approach to educate channel partners and end-users and provide timely follow-up, closure and tracking of all identified opportunities 
  • Leverages specialized sales knowledge in breadth and depth to a variety of issues/projects within the team 
  • Works in a project-oriented manner contributing towards team-level goals 
  
Required Qualifications 
 
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or related fields.
 
Preferred Qualifications 
  
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $137,000- $184,000 OTE. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws
