Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on growing US-based advertising clients' businesses through data-driven strategies. Responsibilities include collaborating with US clients and agencies to expand relationships and optimize advertising, staying updated on US products and features, analyzing data trends, and developing tactical plans to drive growth. A key focus is building US-specific media plans emphasizing YouTube branding. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in advertising, sales, business development, or marketing, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to the US quarterly. The role requires expertise in online media, client relationship management, and market analysis to uncover client business needs and develop tailored solutions using Google's product offerings.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to travel to the US once per quarter as needed.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in US/North American Account Management, enabling the ability to serve as a country expert, collaborate internally, support customer business growth in the US, overcome market-specific tests, and develop and utilize insights and resources regarding the US.
  • Knowledge of online media, communication skills and problem-solving abilities to help shape how new and existing businesses grow.
  • Ability to use client relationship building skills, research and market analysis, explore and uncover the business needs of key clients and develop an understanding of product knowledge.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Grow advertising cross-channel clients US business through clear, data-driven point of views (POVs) and recommendations aligning with Customer Business Objectives.
  • Collaborate and consult with direct US customers representatives and agencies with the goal of extending relationships, growing the customer and optimizing their advertising.
  • Keep up to date and share back on products and features available in the USA, with market-specific insights and solutions, alphas and betas.
  • Analyze US data trends and consumer insights to develop solid tactical plans and prepare narratives to drive growth.
  • Build US specific full-funnel media plans with heavy branding focus to drive adoption of YouTube.
