The Account Manager role within Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Mid-Market Sales focuses on driving growth for Google's advertising business in Mexico City. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of businesses, identifying growth opportunities, developing quarterly plans, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills (English and Spanish fluency required), experience in digital advertising, and a proven ability to achieve sales goals. They will work directly with clients, offering strategic solutions and managing the entire process from outreach and pitching to implementation and performance evaluation. The role requires achieving quarterly business and product growth objectives and building strong client relationships to ensure continued success.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent English & Spanish
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieve sales goals
  • Digital advertising campaign management
Good to have:
  • Channel sales experience
  • Experience with Google Ads
  • Storytelling and narrative skills
  • Objection handling

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged promotion.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, including in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and demonstrated ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Lead Generation businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievements.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering an excellent customer business experience and achieving customer business/marketing objectives.
  • Manage the business process and drive customer outreach, business pitches, solution implementation, and performance evaluation.
  • Work towards quarterly business and product growth goals.
