This Account Strategist role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on the Alpine market (Switzerland and Austria). Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious quarterly growth goals, building client relationships, conducting sales consultations, managing a portfolio of small businesses, driving customer growth, and achieving marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in advertising, consultative sales, or marketing, fluency in German and English, and a strong understanding of Google Ads. Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or experience
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Google Ads knowledge
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieving growth goals
Good to have:
  • Google Digital Workshop certification
  • Experience in Swiss/Austrian market
  • Storytelling and narrative building skills
  • Strong objection handling

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop or similar.
  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged promotions.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media business context in Switzerland or Austria, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and sales pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving marketing objectives.
