The Account Strategist, LeadGen, Mid-Market Sales role at Google Customer Solutions involves building and managing client relationships, understanding their business challenges and marketing objectives, and achieving growth goals through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions. Responsibilities include proactive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, developing data-driven analyses and recommendations, and building expertise in Google advertising products. The role requires fluency in English and Portuguese to engage with local stakeholders in Brazil, focusing on medium and large, fast-growing businesses. The successful candidate will develop transformative media strategies for growth and deliver successful business outcomes by uncovering client needs and driving incremental business agreements through Google's advertising solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising, sales, or marketing
  • Experience with Google Ads and other digital platforms
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
  • Client relationship management
  • Data-driven analysis and strategic recommendations
Good to have:
  • Experience with channel sales, agencies, or clients
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, including in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and engaged promotion.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and demonstrated ability to achieve goals to drive growth.

Through long-term relationship development, we’re dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success.

As the MMS Account Strategist, you will improve campaign performance, drive thoughtful Google product adoption, and build short and medium-term strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills enable you to design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. You will provide Google-caliber solution promotion, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. Using your commercial acumen, you will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their objectives while driving incremental business agreements through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
