Job Description

As an Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions, you'll work with mid-market businesses, developing and implementing digital marketing strategies. Leveraging your expertise in online media and strong communication skills, you'll build relationships, identify growth opportunities, and manage client portfolios. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly growth goals, consulting on annual marketing plans, driving customer growth, and building strong client and stakeholder relationships. Fluency in English and Turkish is essential for managing clients in the specified region. The role requires experience in advertising, sales, or marketing, with a focus on achieving client success through effective communication, planning, and execution.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in English and Turkish
  • Client relationship management skills
  • Achieve quarterly business growth goals
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies
Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Ads products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in planning, implementing, tracking and execution
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Turkish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged promoting.
  • Experience with planning, implementing, tracking and execution.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media business context, and consistently achieve goals to deliver growth.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling for client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Consult with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Build relationships with the customers or agencies and engage in stakeholder management.
