Xsolla seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, financial reporting, and internal controls. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing funds, handling tax preparation, supervising direct reports, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate possesses strong US GAAP knowledge, ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred), advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities. This role involves improving accounting processes, performing financial analysis, and collaborating across departments to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of multitasking and handling special projects.
Must have:
- 6+ years public accounting or related experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- NetSuite ERP experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures and prepare respective financial reports, including reconciliations of various G/L accounts
- Post standard and non-standard journal entries, with emphasis on simplifying or eliminating entries and improving processes
- Support annual internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, and financial statements
- Supervise and train direct reports
- Responsible for preparing consolidated accounts and reporting expenses under appropriate subsidiary
- Help define, document, and execute proper internal controls
- Prepare quarterly and annual cash flow
- Responsible for appropriate month- and quarter-end accruals
- Perform financial analysis and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Recommend improvements to current accounting processes to enhance and streamline the department
- Prepare documentation and other necessary information as required for completion of financial audits
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA a plus
- 6+ years of public accounting or related experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, regulatory reporting requirements, account analysis, and accounting policy
- Large ERP system experience (we use NetSuite) as well as advanced ability in Excel
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, iOS, Google Workspace a plus
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both individually and as a team
- Quick learner and problem solver when faced with new issues or challenges
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task and a high sense of urgency
- Fosters teamwork across the organization with excellent communication skills
- Ability to build partnerships and work in a collaborative environment
