Job Description

As an Affiliate Commerce Account Specialist, you will support and grow affiliate partnerships, optimize performance, and drive revenue. You'll work with affiliate account executives and partners, foster relationships with new partners, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver value-driven affiliate marketing solutions. Responsibilities include optimizing affiliate accounts, enhancing programs through data analysis, driving affiliate engagement, collaborating with sales and editorial teams, identifying new partnership opportunities, and providing client support. You will also be responsible for reporting and analyzing campaign performance.
Must have:
  • 1+ years experience in affiliate marketing
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms

  • Strong Excel skills and data analysis tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

As an Account Specialist in Affiliate Marketing at CNET Group, you'll be responsible for supporting and growing affiliate partnerships and contributing to our overall growth strategy.
 
What You’ll Do: As an Affiliate Commerce Account Specialist, you’ll work closely with our affiliate Account Executive and partners to optimize their performance and drive incremental revenue (both organic and flat-fee). Your role will be to support key accounts, foster relationships with new partners, and collaborate across internal teams to deliver value-driven affiliate marketing solutions. Your focus will be to support executing strategies that align with our business goals while providing outstanding client service.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support & Grow Affiliate Partnerships:
    • Assist in optimizing performance for a portfolio of affiliate accounts, working to ensure partner success and revenue growth.
    • Support enhancing affiliate programs by analyzing performance data and making recommendations.
    • Assist in driving increased affiliate engagement and new partnerships by working closely with internal teams.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Work alongside sales, editorial, and business intelligence teams to deliver on affiliate marketing goals.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between affiliate marketing initiatives and overall business objectives.
  • Drive New Business:
    • Identify opportunities for expanding affiliate networks with new partners.
    • Maintain relationships with affiliate networks, agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to help grow the affiliate channel.
  • Client Support:
    • Serve as the day-to-day contact for affiliate partners, assisting with any inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely and efficient execution of campaigns.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with affiliate partners to ensure performance goals are being met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics, generate reports, and present insights to both internal teams and clients.
    • Utilize data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing affiliate campaigns.

  • Organizational Skills: You are able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present confidently to partners and teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms and technologies.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
