Funko is seeking a highly strategic, results-driven Vice President of Global Sales – Amazon to lead and expand its commercial strategy on Amazon. This executive role is responsible for owning the P&L, accelerating revenue growth, optimizing go-to-market strategies, and driving category leadership within the Amazon ecosystem. The ideal candidate has deep experience navigating Amazon’s Vendor and/or Seller Central platforms, managing complex negotiations, leading cross-functional initiatives, and scaling high-performance teams in a fast-paced digital retail environment. Responsibilities include strategic ownership of the Amazon sales channel, team leadership, Amazon relationship management, marketplace optimization, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and ensuring compliance with Amazon policies.
Must have:
  • 10+ years sales/e-commerce/BD experience
  • 5+ years focused on Amazon
  • Proven success on Amazon for high-growth brands
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon retail systems

We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven Vice President of Global Sales – Amazon to lead and expand our commercial strategy and execution on Amazon. This executive role is responsible for owning the P&L, accelerating revenue growth, optimizing go-to-market strategies, and driving category leadership within the Amazon ecosystem. 
 
The ideal candidate has deep experience navigating Amazon’s Vendor and/or Seller Central platforms, managing complex negotiations, leading cross-functional initiatives, and scaling high-performance teams in a fast-paced digital retail environment. 
 
What You’ll Do 
  • Strategic Ownership: Lead and manage the Amazon sales channel with full P&L accountability. Develop and execute growth strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets. 
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing Amazon-focused sales and support team, including account managers, analysts, and agency partners. 
  • Amazon Relationship Management: Serve as the primary executive point of contact for Amazon (Vendor Central or Seller Central). Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) and annual negotiations. 
  • Marketplace Optimization: Oversee catalog management, pricing strategy, promotional planning, inventory forecasting, content optimization, and product launches. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital, and Product teams to align channel strategies with brand goals and operational capabilities. 
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze performance metrics, competitive landscape, and customer insights to drive actions that maximize ROI and share of voice on the platform. 
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure brand integrity and compliance with Amazon terms, MAP policies, and marketplace best practices. 
 
What You’ll Bring 
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, e-commerce, or business development, with at least 5 years focused on Amazon. 
  • Proven success leading the Amazon channel for a high-growth Toy, Collectible, Entertainment, Fashion or Trend based brands. 
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon retail systems, including ARA Premium, Vendor Central, AMS/AMC, and other platform tools. 
  • Executive-level negotiation experience with Amazon. 
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with comfort managing budgets, forecasts, and large data sets. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Accustomed to the demands of a U.S. led, high growth, quarterly earnings driven business.  
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred. 
  • Passionate about Funko and our products. 
     
Salary Information 
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $200,000 - $266,000 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 
This position is based out of our Corporate HQ in Everett, WA.
