Job Description

As an Azure Data Architect, you will work with cloud-based architectures and possess strong DW/BI/Analytics domain knowledge, specifically with Microsoft Azure. You will partner closely with clients to deliver state-of-the-art Data solutions. This role requires clear communication with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external, to convey critical business and process information and mitigate risks. You will also proactively identify and address customer needs by being a thought partner in engagements.
Must have:
  • 11+ years in Data and Analytics.
  • 2+ years as a Data Architect.
  • 3+ years architecting Azure Modern Data Platforms.
  • 2+ years in Data Migration and Modernization.
  • Strong ETL/ELT experience with Spark, ADF, Databricks, Synapse.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with Pyspark, Python, Databricks, Synapse.
  • Strong understanding of Data Modelling Concepts (Star, Snowflake, Denormalized, Data Vault).
  • Excellent Analytical and Data Analysis skills.
  • Deep expertise in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric roadmap.
Good to have:
  • Work experience in Data Solutioning, Pre-sales, RFP Support, Consulting and Advisory.
  • DevOps, CI/CD in Azure Native tools or General DevOps tools.
  • Strong understanding of Data Management methods, principles and tools (Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Cataloguing, Data Lineage, Data Security and Compliance, Azure Purview, Alation, Collibra).
  • Understanding of Real-time data analytics and experience in Azure Data Services (Azure Event Hub, Azure IOT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Logic App).
  • Azure DP-203 certification.
  • Good Understanding of other MPP Data warehouses or Cloud Data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata, Data stage.
  • Stay current with emerging Microsoft Fabric capabilities, Azure features, and industry trends.

  • You will clearly articulate and communicate with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders with varying degrees of technical proficiency and deliver critical business and process related information to mitigate any risks or failures.
  • You will persistently look for opportunities to address customer needs by being a thought partner in every moment of engagement

Your profile: Must Have:

  • 11+ years of experience in Data and Analytics
  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Architect
  • 3+ years of experience in Architecting, designing and implementing Modern Data Platforms and Solutions using Microsoft Azure Cloud and understands reference architectures.
  • Deep understanding Data Migration Strategies with 2+ years of experience in Data Migration and Modernization
  • Strong hands-on experience in ETL/ELT methods using Spark or any of the ETL tools like ADF, Databricks, Synapse and any other ETL tool
  • Strong hands-on experience in SQL, Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures
  • Hands-on experience in Pyspark, Python, Databricks, Synapse,
  • Strong understanding or Data Modelling Concepts and deep understanding of Star, Snowflake, Denormalized Schema models. Knowledge of Data Vault modelling
  • Excellent Analytical and Data Analysis skills
  • Deep Expertise in following Microsoft Azure Data Services is must – Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric roadmap and integration with other Azure data services.

Good to Have:
