Business Development Manager

Remote work

Inlingo is a Gamedev Outsourcing Studio. We provide with such services as localization, art, voiceover and testing.

We’re looking for someone who will attract new clients to the studio, arrange meetings, and attend gaming conferences.

What you will do with us:

90% of the work is text-based correspondence
10% is Zoom presentations
No cold calls whatsoever
  • Search for and attract new clients from the world of game development (developers and publishers)
  • Process incoming requests and turn them into contracts
  • Arrange meetings and prepare presentations for use at conferences
  • Support the client before they are handed off to their project manager
  • Register your sales in CRM, which means filling in information about the client and the details of what you agreed on
  • Participate in weekly briefings where we plan our work for the week and discuss strategies for current projects and problematic cases
  • Prepare commercial offers

Required experience and skills:

  • Knowledge of English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher, because English is the language we most often use for communicating with clients.
  • It’s also awesome if you keep up with the gaming industry, whether you actively play or are just enthusiastic about games. So, for example, you can tell the difference between an MMORPG and a Hidden Object game.
  • No experience in sales is required. Your eagerness to grow in sales and the gaming industry is enough for us to consider your application.

Personal qualities we value:

  • Empathy. You understand the task and the client’s mood, and can offer them exactly what they want. You have a sense of the moment and can choose the right communication strategy.
  • Ingenuity. Sales work is not just cold messaging. Sometimes you have a chance to come up with a cool idea, like a personal presentation or a link to an interesting article related to your conversation, for example.
  • Speed. We understand that if we don’t react in time, we lose a client. That’s why we value people who are able to make quick decisions and act on them.
  • Analyticity. You analyze your actions and your client’s actions. You analyze your mistakes and why they happened. You analyze examples from successful people and find out what made them successful. This is a must for professional growth.

It is also a plus if you:

  • Have developed a project in the gaming industry, even in the past
  • Have connections and acquaintances in the gaming industry
  • Are familiar with sales techniques and know how to use them

And finally, what we offer:

  • Full-time remote work day
  • Salary is discussed with each candidate personally, and increases with professional level
