Summary

As a Business Human Resources Partner in Intel's OCTO, you'll engage with a talented team, providing HR expertise and support. Responsibilities include collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence to implement solutions, conducting data analysis to support HR programs, providing strategic counsel to managers and employees on talent, performance, and employee relations, preparing leaders for talent review discussions, and using business insights to understand organizational health and deploy interventions. You'll act as a steward of corporate HR practices and policies, fostering positive employee relations and driving engagement, talent growth, and organizational development.

Job Description

In Intel’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) we enable Intel’s technical innovation, research programs, technology-driven business transformation, and end-to-end security architecture. As a Business Human Resources Partner your role will be to engage with this talented team, to apply your skills, knowledge and Intel resources to solve for their “people” needs.  You will build trusted relationships with managers and employees, provide expert counsel, drive engagement, talent growth and organizational development.

This role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence and other partners to implement HR solutions that address business needs and deliver on business imperatives.
  • Conducts data analysis for the business to support the implementation of HR programs, processes and services aligned to talent, performance and compensation, organization design, assessments and talent planning and employee relations.
  • Provides strategic counsel to managers and employees around talent factors related to successful execution of the business strategy.
  • Encourages positive employee relations by using sensing tools, engaging directly with employees, and monitoring organizational health.
  • Provides advice and counsel to managers and employees on performance related issues, including identifying key talent, organizational planning, recognition and rewards, performance issues, performance improvement, employee relations issues, and corporate people movement.
  • Prepares leaders for talent review discussions and facilitates quarterly talent check in meetings to ensure the business follows through on talent commitments and strategies.
  • Uses business insights and data to understand the health of the organization and the resulting talent implications. Deploys interventions in partnership with the COEs to resolve business challenges.
  • Acts as a steward of corporate HR practices, guidelines, and policies.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel’s immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, OR a related field with 5+ years of experience or a Master of Science, MBA or a Master of Artes degree, with 3+ years of experience
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in 3 or more of the following:
    • Employee relations
    • Data analysis
    • Talent planning
    • Taining and development
    • Performance management
    • Change management
    • HR programs and policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years of demonstrated capabilities in leadership development and/or coaching, diversity equity and inclusion, stakeholder management, project/program management, organization diagnosis and design.
