Job Description

Varonis is seeking a C#/C++ Software Engineer to program high-performance core applications responsible for collecting and moving large amounts of data. This role involves design, feature ownership, and module ownership across all aspects of the application lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing core applications to handle massive data volumes. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of C++ experience, C# experience, and experience in Windows/Linux development. Familiarity with microservices, cloud development, system design, and OS concepts is preferred. The position offers a flexible, hybrid work model.

Must have:

3+ years C++ experience
C# experience
Windows/Linux development
System design & OS knowledge
Lead feature from planning to testing

Good to have:

Microservice architecture
Cloud development experience
Ransomware experience
Cloud familiarity
Active Directory, NtapCM, EMC, Linux knowledge

Responsibilities

Programming high-performance core applications, that are responsible to collect and move a large amount of data.
Design, features, and modules ownership in all aspects.

Requirements

3+ years experience in C++ – Must
Experience in C# – Must
Sc. from a known University
Windows/ Linux development experience
Experience with microservice architecture – Advantage
Cloud development experience – Advantage
In-depth understanding of System design and OS concepts
Ability to lead a feature from planning to development and unit-testing

Advantages

Experience with Ransomware, Cloud
Familiar with Active directory, NtapCM, EMC, Linux
