By deploying, optimizing, and performing value-added activities, the ASE bridges customer needs with product capabilities, focusing on both remote and on-site engagements. Adaptability and handling complex customer requests are crucial. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, continuously challenging their knowledge to ensure customer success.
Must have:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Good knowledge of AWS S3, RDS, Azure Blob, Snowflake
  • Excellent interpersonal, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • "Please the customer" mentality
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, writing, and analytical skills
Good to have:
  • Certifications for supported cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)

Summary

The Advanced Services Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) gets our customers to a point where they can realize value from the products that they purchased. By deploying, optimizing, and performing value added activities, the ASE bridges the gap between our customer’s needs and our products’ robust capabilities. Our focus is on meeting our customers’ needs and use cases through both remote and on-site work. As an SME being adaptable and ready to handle complex situations/asks from a customer is necessary for success. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in fast-paced environment that challenges their level of knowledge to ensure continued success of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze information about a customer’s environment
  • Effectively assess and present hardware and software requirements
  • Understand customers’ security pain points and deploy product-based solutions
  • Advise customers about security best practices
  • Manage, track, and report on the progress of your engagements
  • Perform remediation projects/engagements with customers
  • Prevent or solve customers’ product related problems on clients’ systems remotely and onsite

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as relational database concepts, cloud computing principles, AWS services, implementing security best practices.
  • Good knowledge of AWS S3, RDS, Azure Blob, Snowflake.
  • Excellent interpersonal, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding customer services skills
  • “Please the customer” mentality
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, writing, and analytical skills
  • Certifications for supported cloud technologies is a plus (IE: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)
