About the Team The infrastructure team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services and making sure they are scalable and are reliable. Responsibilities We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Global Leader to head our Data Center Design team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our data center infrastructure across the globe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design, with a solid understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) principals. Additionally, experience in operational engineering support is crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Team Management: - Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of design engineers, ensuring high performance and continuous development. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting innovation and excellence. - Coordinate with regional design teams to standardize processes and ensure consistency in design practices. 2. Design and Engineering: - Oversee the development of comprehensive MEP designs for new and existing data centers. - Ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. - Integrate CSA principles into the design process to ensure the structural integrity and safety of data center facilities. 3. Operational Support: - Provide expert engineering support for the operation and maintenance of data centers. - Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and reliability. - Collaborate with the operations team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. 4. Project Management: - Lead the planning and execution of data center design projects from inception to completion. - Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including construction, IT, and security, to align project goals and deliverables. 5. Strategic Planning and Innovation: - Develop long-term strategies for data center design that align with the company’s growth and technological advancement goals. - Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in data center design. - Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and outcomes. 6. Compliance and Risk Management: - Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. - Identify and mitigate risks associated with design and construction projects. - Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure ongoing compliance and performance. - This position requires the ability to travel internationally as needed to support global projects and teams. - Flexible working hours may be required to coordinate with teams in different time zones.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $275160 - $355200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
