Microsoft's SMC and Digital Sales team seeks a Digital Solution Area Specialist – Data & AI fluent in Portuguese. Based in Barcelona, Spain or Dublin, Ireland, this role focuses on delivering exceptional digital solutions to Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) customers. Responsibilities include collaborating with technical and partner resources to achieve revenue targets, engaging with customers to identify opportunities, building stakeholder maps, accelerating deal closures, and coaching junior team members. The specialist will leverage role orchestration, collaborate with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), develop partner strategies, and share competitor knowledge. Additional responsibilities involve event participation, mentoring, best practice sharing, and project execution. The ideal candidate possesses demonstrated technology-related sales or account management experience, fluency in Portuguese and English, and authorization to work in Spain or Ireland.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent Portuguese is required
  • Demonstrated technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR equivalent experience

Language Skills: Portuguese and English

Position is based in: Barcerlona, Spain OR Dublin, Ireland

 

Relocation expenses are not provided as part of this role.

 

Only candidates who are currently located in Spain or Ireland will be considered for this role. 

 

You must be legally authorised to work in Ireland or Spain to be eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and exceed quarterly Data App & AI revenue targets in your assigned accounts. ​​
  • Engage in conversation with customers aligned to their industry and collaborates with account and partner team to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline.
  • Identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively builds external stakeholders' mapping, implements strategies to accelerate the closing of deals, contributes input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities, coaches junior team members in deal plan execution.
  • Apply role orchestration model and navigates the Microsoft organization to bring the best impact to the customer and collaborates with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identifies new partners, develops joint proposals and contributes to developing partner strategies.
  • Leverage and share competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal.
  • Set up events within Microsoft, mentor others and develops strategies for best practice sharing, initiates conversations with prospective customers/partners at events​
  • Drives the execution of projects, partners and collaborates with other teams on related deliverables, and leverages others in relevant work streams.​
