Job Description

The Director, Agency Partnerships - SEA, will develop and grow InMobi's relationships with HoldCos and independent agencies in Southeast Asia. This senior role requires building and managing senior-level relationships, structuring commercial agreements, driving market strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include developing strategic partnerships, leading negotiations, driving agency product enablement, and acting as the voice of SEA agency contacts within InMobi. The ideal candidate possesses strong existing relationships across SEA agencies, 15+ years of relevant experience, and proven success in enterprise client solutions and stakeholder management. The role involves working with sales, marketing, and operational teams to achieve revenue and product objectives.

What you'll own

Reporting to the Director, Head of Agency Partnerships, APAC - this role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and strategy responsible for developing and growing InMobi’s relationship across HoldCos and Independent Agencies in SEA. This senior role will work collaboratively across disciplines to develop deeper strategic engagement and partnerships across agencies in support of InMobi’s product and revenue objectives.     

As the Director of Agency Partnerships, you will be responsible for building/owning all key senior leadership relationships with leads across Investment, Programmatic, Partnerships, Strategy, Data Science, Commerce and more, developing innovative and commercially viable partnerships that support account level engagements by the direct sales team. This role will work with cross-functional teams to drive market strategies, support overall agency product enablement and contribute to a world class team and culture.   

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the senior-level strategy, planning and activation relationships with HoldCos and agencies across SEA markets. 
  • Build and foster long term senior relationships with regional agency leaders and decision makers that includes the end-to-end customer relationship for their revenue, tech and data needs. 
  • Work with global InMobi teams to support the relationship at the holding company and respective operating company levels and independent agencies 
  • Lead efforts in structuring, drafting, and negotiating large strategic and commercial agreements focused on agency capability development, product education and tools integration (where applicable). 
  • Design overall digital marketing and product development strategies with agencies and theirt client portfolio in support of driving adoption of InMobi offerings  
  • Drive thought leadership/strategic thinking by partnering with key internal stakeholders e.g. regional agency teams (SEA), sales, marketing and operations to ensure consistency across global markets 
  • Partner and collaborate closely with the regional Direct Sales, Customer Success, Programmatic Trading Desk and Audience Intelligence (Insights) teams to drive adoption of all InMobi solutions with all new agency accounts and support the discussions with existing accounts 
  • Be the voice of the SEA agency contacts inside InMobi and bring feedback across our go-to-market, product, product marketing, etc. teams 
  • We need a Yearn to Hunt:  you’ll be tracking down key agency team contacts – and most importantly, opportunity - across strategy/planning, display/investment, video, commerce, shopper and programmatic orgs  
  • We need Grit: A no holds barred approach to increasing agency channel investment with the willingness to follow and adopt internal processes and systems

  • The ability to roll with the punches while keeping a level head and having some fun while you’re at it is critical  

What do we require from you:

  • Strong existing relationships and experience working across SEA agencies is a significant preference 
  • 15+ years of senior level experience either in an Agency Partnerships role in Ad/MarTech or in a Partnerships role within a major Agency HoldCo (with a focus on negotiating complex commercial agreements, upfront agreements, and governing terms agreements )  
  • Driving performance for enterprise client solutions, specifically within online media buying and advertising technologies    
  • Senior level (C-level included) technical stakeholder relationship management, translating their business needs into innovative technology solutions    
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and building relationships across internal teams    
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales and account management approach    
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with the ability to multi-task    
  • Passionate team player with a sense of humor and desire to win with, and for, the team – and InMobi Group overall  
  • Master's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
