GalaSwap Leader

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced GalaSwap Leader to lead and manage the team responsible for GalaSwap, a decentralized, peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange on GalaChain. As the GalaSwap Leader, you will play a critical role in driving the development, strategy, and growth of the GalaSwap platform, ensuring smooth operations and innovative advancements in decentralized trading. You will lead a cross-functional team, work closely with other departments, and be responsible for the overall success of the GalaSwap platform.

The focus is on driving new strategic initiatives, growing the existing business, including new and existing partners, and leading and managing teams. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for GalaSwap to enhance features, improve user experience, and scale the platform.
• Lead and manage the GalaSwap team, including engineers, product managers, and business development professionals.
• Ensure the security and robustness of the exchange, implementing best practices in smart contract security, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain technology.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and community teams to grow the user base, promote adoption, and integrate user feedback into product development.
• Foster innovation within the team to stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and blockchain.
• Manage partnerships with external vendors, auditors, and other third-party services critical to the platform’s success.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for decentralized finance and cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics, ensuring the team meets goals for uptime, user satisfaction, liquidity, and trading volumes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a team in a blockchain environment, ideally on decentralized exchanges or similar P2P trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of blockchain, smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), and decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
• Hands-on engineering experience in blockchain, ideally with proficiency in smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity, Rust) and decentralized platforms.
• Familiarity with GalaChain or similar blockchain ecosystems is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams, set strategic goals, and oversee product development.
• Experience with security best practices for DeFi, including contract auditing, risk management, and cryptographic protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business leaders, technical experts, and community stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and lead with a startup mentality.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications

• Driven and motivated by innovation
• Previous experience as a platform engineer or technical lead on a blockchain project.
