Haleon is seeking an Innovation Project Manager to drive the introduction of new products and the implementation of strategic projects at the site and CMOs. The role involves end-to-end management of new product introductions and technical transfers, including feasibility assessments, budget management, stakeholder updates, and documentation. The project manager will also oversee strategic site projects and ensure on-time delivery. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a safe and healthy workplace by managing risks in accordance with EHS standards. Collaboration with R&D, commercial teams, finance, and site operations is essential for success.

About the role

Drive introduction of new products (from R&D and/or technical transfers from other Haleon sites or CMO’s) and implementation of strategic projects at the site and CMOs.

Key responsibilities

New Product Introduction/ Technical Transfer

  • Accountable for the end-to-end management of strategic new product introduction or technical transfers into the site and CMOs using sound project management principles.
  • Accountable for the site technical feasibility assessment (manufacturing, packing and testing) of new products or technical transfer of products.
  • Responsible for developing and managing the budget associated with new product introduction and technical transfers.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all stakeholders are updated on the NPI/ technical transfers at pre-defined intervals.
  • Responsible for completion of all documentation as defined in the relevant NPI/ Techncial transfer SOPs.
  • Responsible for on-time delivery of all NPI/ technical transfer initiatives.
  • Is the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all NPI/ Technical transfer initiatives between site, commercial teams and above site teams.
  • Collaborates with the site finance team on COGS development for new products or products forming part of technical transfer.
  • Collaborates with the MEA R&D Team on innovation projects and supports the site activities needed to get the new product registered.

Strategic Site Projects

  • Accountable for the end-to-end management and delivery of strategic projects at site and CMO.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all stakeholders are updated on status of strategic projects as assigned.
  • Responsible for on-time delivery of all strategic projects as assigned.

Environmental Health And Safety (EHS) And Engineering

  • Conduct all work activities on accordance with the Environment Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
  • Maintain a secure and healthy workplace by efficiently managing risks, including psychosocial risks, to protect our people and the environment from physical or mental harm. Achieve this through our internal control framework, EHSW standards, local SOPs and actively working towards achieving our objectives and targets.
  • Complies with EHS and Engineering standards and guidelines and site EHS procedures.
  • Actively participates in the ZAP program by reporting Near Miss and Observations to help reduce risk and improve safety. Minimum number of reports to align with the site KPI.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Project Management qualification
  • Experience of Pharmaceutical/FMCG or other regulated industry (preferably 5 years or more).
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment.
  • Working as part of a cross functional team.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of strategic
