Job Description & Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to a range of software implementation projects. The current project is on a banking product driven by AI aimed at enhancing anti-fraud capabilities, delivered across both cloud and on-premise environments. In this role, you will customize and validate platform features to align with specific client requirements, with a strong emphasis on testing Java code and delivering updates through structured patching workflows. This position involves hands-on experience with development, testing, and deployment pipelines, combining engineering, debugging, and release responsibilities.What you will be doing:
Working in cross-disciplinary team of experts, you will be responsible for the development of Automation solutions in various automation and low-code software.
Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using industry-leading tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
ntegrate solutions with external data sources, APIs, and third-party applications to facilitate seamless data exchange and reporting.
Assist in the analysis of business processes to identify areas for automation and efficiency improvement.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure successful integration of the automation solutions into existing systems.
Troubleshoot and debug automation applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Stay current with automation industry trends, tools, and best practices to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
Creation of business and technical documentation.
What we need from you:
Overall experience in software development projects of 3-4 years.
Strong experience testing and debugging Java code in complex backend systems.
Comfortable working in IntelliJ, Linux terminal, and command-line environments.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and tools like K9s for local and remote environment management.
Familiarity with REST APIs, Postman, and JSON workflows for backend feature testing.
Competent with PostgreSQL and able to query and manipulate data directly to support testing efforts.
Knowledge of GitLab-based development workflows, including merge requests and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to read logs, analyse runtime issues, and implement fixes through targeted code.
Experience documenting changes in clear, concise technical language.
Understanding of AWS deployment environments.
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Very good command of English.
