Must have:
  • 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in games.
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Proficient copywriting skills.
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts.

  • Experience running paid advertising campaigns.
  • Confident speaking at events and on camera.
  • Creative mindset and passion for games.
  • Understanding of the Japanese games market.

Summary

Q-Games are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to work within the existing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a marketing background and a passion for video games. The role requires someone who is proactive, creative and looking to make a positive impact as part of a thriving indie studio.

Responsibilities

  • Creating campaigns and content to promote Q-Games, existing titles and unannounced projects
  • Plan, execute and schedule social media content across multiple platforms and track performance (English and Japanese channels)
  • Handling responses across all social media channels and forums (including Steam and Discord)
  • Oversee the creation of creative assets for social media and digital campaigns
  • Weekly top level data reporting – social media and product performance insights
  • Creation of regular website updates for both Q-Games and specific franchises
  • Japanese spokesperson at events and during streaming opportunities
  • Outreach to Japanese partners, content creators and media contacts
  • Supporting the wider marketing team through strategy planning and implementation

Experience

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally within the games industry
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese
  • An in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and standard practice for content scheduling and generation
  • Proficient copywriting skills
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts
  • Experience running paid advertising campaigns is a bonus but not a necessity
  • Confident speaking at events and on camera
  • Creative mindset and a passion for the games industry
  • An understanding of the Japanese games market is a plus
