Marketing Data Analyst

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Marketing Data Analyst for a fully remote, full-time, 6-month W2 contract opportunity with a leading consumer fin-tech company.

Join our client's team as a pivotal member of the Growth Product Marketing division, where your expertise in data analysis will illuminate the impact of marketing efforts on business outcomes. Collaborate seamlessly with Marketing, Finance, Investor Relations, and Performance Marketing channel leaders to monitor revenue, manage expenditures, and analyze trends to forecast quarterly performance. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping both current and future marketing strategies.

Marketing Data Analyst Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate marketing expenditures, revenue contributions, and pacing across different quarters.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to highlight trends and return on investment (ROI).

• Collaborate with Finance and Investor Relations to address inquiries and conduct detailed analyses.

• Utilize SQL and spreadsheets to extract, manipulate, and interpret complex datasets.

• Lead quarterly planning, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and provide monthly executive updates.

• Act as the primary contact for ad-hoc analyses and performance updates.

• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve organizational efficiency.

Marketing Data Analyst Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or performance marketing.

• Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, Google Sheets, SQL, and dashboard creation.

• Ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
