We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Middle Data QA Engineer to join our team in Lviv!

About the team:

DataMatrix is a part of EveryMatrix platform that is responsible for collecting, storing, processing and utilizing hundreds of millions of transactions from the whole platform every single day. We develop Business Intelligent solutions, reports, 3rd party integrations, data streaming and other products for both external and internal use. The team consists of 35 people and is located in Lviv.

What You'll get to do:

• Create and execute testing scripts for verification of data and software applications.
• Conduct thorough database testing to ensure data integrity, reliability, and accuracy across various database systems.
• Manage defect tracking in Jira, report issues to development teams, and ensure resolution and validation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry best practices;
• Work closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and design appropriate tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

What You need to know:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on data testing.
  Strong experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and issue resolution.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile development environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and best practices, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
• Work effectively under time pressure, while maintaining a strong focus on quality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.
