Job Description

Urbint is seeking an experienced Native iOS Mobile App Developer to design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating requirements into functional features, utilizing RESTful APIs, implementing offline storage solutions (SQLite, Firebase), performing performance tuning, adhering to Apple's design principles, bug fixing, publishing apps to the App Store, leveraging native iOS features (Push Notifications, GPS, etc.), and using Git and Jenkins. The ideal candidate will possess strong Swift (and Objective-C) skills, experience with external frameworks and libraries, and a proven track record of building high-quality mobile applications.

Must have:

3+ years Native iOS development experience
Proficient in Swift and Objective-C
Experience with RESTful APIs and offline storage
Understanding of Apple's design principles
Git and Jenkins experience

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Native iOS Mobile App Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Swift and Objective C, a keen understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines, and a passion for building high-quality mobile applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can translate requirements into fully functional features and has experience with performance tuning and bug fixing.

What You'll Do

Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features.

Utilize RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

Implement offline storage solutions using SQLite, Firebase, and other technologies.

Conduct performance tuning, threading, and maintain high performance of the application.

Understand and implement Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance and quality.

Publish applications on the App Store and manage updates and maintenance.

Leverage native iOS features such as Push Notifications, Local Notifications, Animations, GPS, and Maps.

Use version control tools like Git to manage and maintain codebase.

Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.

Who You Are

B Tech/M Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

3 to 5+ years of experience in Native iOS Mobile App Development.

Extensive experience in Swift (and Objective C) and Cocoa Touch.

Proficient in working with external frameworks and libraries.

Strong experience with RESTful APIs and offline storage solutions (SQLite, Firebase).

Proficient understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.

Familiarity with continuous integration like Jenkins.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
