Job Description

This 8-week internship at Blackshore (a Rebellion subsidiary) offers hands-on experience in influencer marketing, YouTube talent management, and owned channel operations. Responsibilities include assisting in influencer marketing campaigns (proposal drafting, influencer sourcing, campaign execution), supporting the management of 200+ YouTube creators (monetization, talent acquisition), contributing to owned channel operations (content creation, collaboration with various teams), and utilizing YouTube analytics for data-driven decision-making. The intern will gain insights into scalable strategies for growing YouTube channels, collaborating in a remote-first environment, and executing successful marketing campaigns. The internship is exclusively for undergraduate students from Wadham and St John's Colleges at Oxford University.

8 Week Internship for Rebellion YouTube Marketing & Distribution Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the three core business verticals of Blackshore, a fully remote subsidiary of Rebellion. Blackshore specializes in influencer marketing, YouTube talent management, and owned YouTube channel operations. As an intern, you will work closely with our agile team, contributing to key projects that support our mission of creating impactful campaigns, managing top-tier creators, and growing high-performing channels.

What You'll Do:

  • Influencer Marketing Campaigns (IMC):
    • Assist in creating and executing influencer marketing campaigns for brands.
    • Help draft proposals, plan campaigns, source influencers, and manage campaign fulfilment.
    • Collaborate on projects that deliver impactful results for marketing clients and content creators.
  • YouTube Creator Service Provider (CSP):
    • Gain insight into managing a roster of 200+ YouTube content creators.
    • Learn how creators monetize their channels using Blackshore's Content Management System.
    • Support talent business operations, including talent acquisition and service delivery.
  • Owned Managed Channels (OMC):
    • Contribute to the operation of Blackshore’s owned and managed YouTube channels.
    • Work with channel managers, editors, voice actors, and graphic designers to create high-quality content.
    • Learn how we apply scalable processes to grow successful YouTube channels.
  • Content Creation & Campaign Launches:
    • Support the creation of video content that reaches global audiences and promotes external brands, Rebellion games, and Rebellion film and comic IP.
    • Assist in launching campaigns to raise brand awareness and engagement.
  • Analytics & Data-Driven Decisions:
    • Gain an introduction to YouTube analytics, learning to interpret data and make informed decisions to improve channel performance.
  • Collaboration & Administration:
    • Virtually collaborate with diverse teams across multiple countries.
    • Provide administrative support and assist with various tasks related to your projects.

  • How to design and execute influencer marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Best practices for managing YouTube content creators and helping them monetize their work.
  • Insights into scalable strategies for operating and growing YouTube channels.
  • Data-driven decision-making using YouTube analytics to optimize content and performance.
  • The inner workings of a remote-first, agile organization and how to effectively collaborate across time zones.
  • Strategies for raising brand awareness for global clients and leveraging video content to achieve marketing goals.

Requirements

  • Internships are exclusively accessible to undergraduate students from Wadham and St John's Colleges at Oxford University.
  • Availability for attendance from June 30, 2025, to August 29, 2025.
  • A strong enthusiasm for YouTube, content creation, or influencer marketing.
  • Experience with video editing software, content management systems, or data analysis is desirable, though not mandatory.
  • All applications must be submitted by Friday, 21st February at 16:00.
