If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become the Production Director for an unannounced game being developed at Blizzard Entertainment! In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving production.

RESPONSIBILITIES
● Lead the production efforts, overseeing the entire development lifecycle from inception to postlaunch support.
● Establish and maintain production pipelines, procedures, and tools that optimize development processes and facilitate seamless collaboration.
● Plan and lead project schedules, milestones, and prioritization in collaboration with internal and external development teams.
● Manage short-term and long-term resource and budget planning by working with the executive producer and the finance team.
● Cultivate effective communication and collaboration between departments, addressing roadblocks and ensuring alignment.

● Develop scalable processes for project scheduling, prioritization, task tracking, and problem solving to achieve results while maintaining high standards of quality.
● Stay updated on industry trends and development methodologies to build an outstanding production culture.
● Foster a creative environment, encourage and empower the production team, resolve personnel challenges, and promote a culture of success.
● Mentor and guide the production team in defining and achieving their career goals.


PLAYER PROFILE
● Strong organizational development capabilities with experience structuring teams to align with desired product outcomes.
● In-depth understanding of game development subject areas and pipelines, particularly in relation to AAA games and production.
● Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and driven to build structure and order within the production process.
● Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, leading multiple sophisticated initiatives with various partners and teams.

● Highly adaptable and capable of navigating constantly evolving conditions in the game development industry. Proven track record of growing, guiding, and encouraging production teams to achieve their full potential.
● Proven ability to coach and mentor employees at all levels of the organization.
● Experienced in working with supporting and service teams such as marketing, legal, finance, creative, HR etc.
● Familiarity with localization, quality assurance, submission, and build processes in game development.
● Deep passion for playing and creating games.
● Extensive production experience.
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

EXTRA POINTS
● Experience leading development efforts for live-service games.
● Working knowledge of industry-standard development pipelines and technology platforms.
● Strong understanding of the game market and industry trends.
● International game or business experience.
