Experience: 

5-9 years of experience in Python Development

• Experience with FIS software tool

• Extensive Python full stack programming

• Strong experience with data modelling for entire application

• Strong experience with design and build of ETL process

• Strong with Azure functions, infrastructure setup for application & DevOps

• Strong with Data Analytics using Python and/or SQL

Job Summary:

A career in our FS Tech & Analytics practice. As an experienced Associate, you'll assist clients in building, analysing and identifying financial spread risks by leveraging FIS solutions. You will become proficient in FIS products, collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, and develop tailored solutions and drive innovation in risk management strategies. You will also assist the practice grow in the different geographies including  US, Australia and UK markets. You are expected to build  strong professional relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Job Description:

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Provide support to our clients with the technology consulting solutions, lead offshore delivery team

• Work on design and buildout of integrated solutions, leading the offshore technology team, build complex implementations involving full stack Python and databases (Postgres/MongoDb) on cloud platforms preferably Azure

• Design ETL process and Data modelling of the entire application for robust and scalable application. 

• Setup scalable application infrastructure on cloud platforms like Azure, including DevOps

• Work with global teams, attending the calls, asking relevant questions, providing status reporting to different stakeholders

Skills

General:

• Proven experience leading a technical team for end to end delivery from offshore

• Ability and interest to learn new technologies

• Communicating clearly when writing, speaking and/or presenting to project stakeholders

• Understand the client need, translate it using technologies

• Previous experience working in regulated industry and matrixed organization required

Must Have:

• Must have working experience with FIS software tool

• Expertise in Python programming, with a solid grasp of object-oriented principles.

• Proficiency in Python for application development, with optional knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning libraries.

• Strong familiarity with Python data science libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Plotly, and Matplotlib.

• Hands-on experience in Python API programming using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Graphene.

• Proficient in exception handling and unit testing in Python.

• Competence in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Experience in designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats

• Extensive experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including data processing, manipulation, and bulk data transfers.

• Strong background in relational database design, with expertise in writing advanced SQL queries and stored procedures, ideally with databases like Postgres, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Proven experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

• Proven experience leading a technical team for end to end delivery from offshore

• Managing predominantly offshore engagements and relevant PwC Territory teams.

• Ensure client service delivery in accordance with the quality guidelines & methodologies

• Build and maintain client relationships by understanding and being responsive to client needs and ensuring high quality of deliverables

• Take responsibility for various areas of the engagement, which may include:

  • Developing materials including but not limited to writing reports, problem solving and preparing materials for clients. 

  • Supporting other team members with any other key activities for delivery of client outcomes or internal goals and objectives.

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with version control tools such as Git.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of Cloud services, preferably on Azure

• Experience within a technology organization in the banking, financial services, or financial technology industries preferred

• Experience on Regulatory Reporting domain 

• Consulting experience
