Job Description

This Regional Account Executive role at Google focuses on building and managing relationships with C-level clients and executive partners in the Tech and Automotive sectors. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive understanding of client business challenges and marketing objectives, structuring long-term strategies, leading cross-functional teams, achieving growth goals through Google advertising product presentations, and providing data-driven, consultative recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of Google's advertising products, and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. The role requires collaboration across Google teams to drive client success and achieve ambitious growth targets. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 6 years experience, preferably 8 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales or business development. The role is based in London, UK.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of experience in advertising/sales/business development (or 6 years with advanced degree)
  • Fluent English communication
  • C-level client relationship management
  • Strategic planning and execution
  • Data-driven analysis and recommendations
  • Deep understanding of Google Advertising products
Good to have:
  • 6 years of experience managing executive-level relationships
  • 4 years of experience in tech/automotive industry
  • 2 years in complex, matrixed organization
  • Leadership experience

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • 4 years of experience working in the industry or product area.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
