Job Description

As a Revenue Cloud Solution Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, assisting them in understanding how Salesforce Revenue Cloud can transform their quote-to-cash process. Key responsibilities include understanding customer challenges, designing Revenue Cloud solutions, delivering product demonstrations, providing technical expertise, supporting sales cycles, collaborating across teams, and presenting at workshops. The role requires 3-6 years of pre-sales or consulting experience, ideally with a focus on Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or similar platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of revenue recognition and SaaS models and excellent presentation skills.

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Revenue Cloud Solution Engineer to join our Solution Engineering team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our prospects and customers, helping them understand how Salesforce Revenue Cloud can transform their quote-to-cash process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discovery & Qualification: Partner with Account Executives to understand customer challenges and uncover business value opportunities related to Revenue Cloud.
  • Solution Design: Translate customer requirements into compelling Revenue Cloud solutions across Quoting, Billing and Contract Lifecycle Management
  • Demonstrations & POCs: Create and deliver tailored product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and solution walkthroughs to articulate value.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in Revenue Cloud products, staying current with new features, roadmap items, and best practices.
  • Sales Support: Respond to RFPs/RFIs, develop solution documentation, and support sales cycles from early discovery to technical close.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, professional services, and partner teams to ensure alignment in solution approach and implementation readiness.
  • Thought Leadership: Present at customer workshops, internal enablement sessions, and industry events as a Revenue Cloud evangelist.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in a pre-sales or consulting role, ideally focused on Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Revenue Cloud Advanced or similar quote-to-cash platforms.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition, usage-based pricing, subscription models, and SaaS or B2B sales processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, including CPQ configuration, pricing strategies, product bundling, and billing flows.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Apex, Flow, MuleSoft, or integration patterns is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., CPQ Specialist, Revenue Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder) are strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industries like SaaS, manufacturing, telecom, or financial services with complex pricing/billing models.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and how they integrate into the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
