The role requires 3-6 years of pre-sales or consulting experience, ideally with a focus on Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or similar platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of revenue recognition and SaaS models and excellent presentation skills.

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Revenue Cloud Solution Engineer to join our Solution Engineering team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our prospects and customers, helping them understand how Salesforce Revenue Cloud can transform their quote-to-cash process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discovery & Qualification: Partner with Account Executives to understand customer challenges and uncover business value opportunities related to Revenue Cloud.
  • Solution Design: Translate customer requirements into compelling Revenue Cloud solutions across Quoting, Billing and Contract Lifecycle Management
  • Demonstrations & POCs: Create and deliver tailored product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and solution walkthroughs to articulate value.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in Revenue Cloud products, staying current with new features, roadmap items, and best practices.
  • Sales Support: Respond to RFPs/RFIs, develop solution documentation, and support sales cycles from early discovery to technical close.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, professional services, and partner teams to ensure alignment in solution approach and implementation readiness.
  • Thought Leadership: Present at customer workshops, internal enablement sessions, and industry events as a Revenue Cloud evangelist.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in a pre-sales or consulting role, ideally focused on Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Revenue Cloud Advanced or similar quote-to-cash platforms.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition, usage-based pricing, subscription models, and SaaS or B2B sales processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, including CPQ configuration, pricing strategies, product bundling, and billing flows.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Apex, Flow, MuleSoft, or integration patterns is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., CPQ Specialist, Revenue Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder) are strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industries like SaaS, manufacturing, telecom, or financial services with complex pricing/billing models.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and how they integrate into the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
