Job Description

The Sales Advisor role at Tesla in Northampton involves assisting customers in purchasing Tesla vehicles. Responsibilities include acting as a product expert, understanding customer needs, providing personalized solutions, guiding customers through the sales process (including financing and trade-ins), and exceeding sales targets. The FAST program offers comprehensive training, and successful candidates will have strong communication skills, a passion for Tesla's mission, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly. The role requires a team-oriented approach, meeting sales goals, and generating leads. Daily tasks include managing the sales pipeline and delivering exceptional customer experiences, building long-term customer relationships.

Whether you are an experienced salesperson or looking to break into the industry - The FAST program is designed to provide you with all the tools you need and accelerate you on your sales journey. Tesla does things differently - We will invest in you! This unique program is built to set you up for success, as our expert sales trainers will provide you with all the Tesla knowledge you need in combination with in-store sales experience.

As a Sales Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping customers on their journey to ownership of a Tesla vehicle. You will be a product expert who is passionate about Tesla's mission and can communicate the benefits of owning a Tesla to potential customers. You will work with customers to understand their needs, educate them about Tesla vehicles, and guide them through the sales process to ensure they make an informed decision.

You have relentless determination to succeed, and you are driven by the mission of Tesla to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. You are part of a larger sales and delivery team who works closely and flexibly on all tasks. You are expected to cooperate frequently and display a one-team mentality to achieve sales and delivery targets.

What You’ll Do
  • Be a product expert on Tesla vehicles and technologies, and stay up to date with the latest developments and trends 
  • Understand the needs and preferences of each customer, and provide a personalized solution that meets their requirements 
  • Provide detailed and transparent information about the benefits of owning a Tesla vehicle, including charging and maintenance costs, environmental impact, and driving experience 
  • Guide customers through the sales process, including financing options, trade-ins, and delivery timelines 
  • Be a trusted advisor to customers, answering any questions they may have and addressing any concerns or objections they may raise 
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that exceeds their expectations, building a long-term relationship with them 
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics 
  • Daily outbound lead generation, capturing opportunities, and managing sales pipeline
What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understands English language and communicate in it when needed
  • Driving License valid in the UK which has been held for over 2 years
