Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Salesforce, you'll generate new business through inbound and outbound opportunities. You'll engage in high-level conversations with senior executives, creating and prioritizing target account lists within a defined territory. Close collaboration with Account Executives is key. The role focuses on evangelizing Salesforce and contributing to business growth within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role requires 1-2 years of full-time corporate sales experience (software sales preferred) and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia/Bahasa Melayu is advantageous.
Must have:
  • 1-2 years corporate sales experience (software sales a plus)
  • Prospecting, cold calling, business sales experience
  • Strong communication & business acumen
  • Competitive, motivated, team player
  • Multitasking, prioritization, time management
Good to have:
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia/Bahasa Melayu

Sales Development Representative, Rest of Asia

Our Sales Development (SDR) and Business Development (BDR) teams sell into a diverse set of industries and are broken down into the following segments:

  • Emerging Small Business

  • Small Medium Business

  • Mid Market

  • General Business

  • Enterprise Business Unit

  • Marketing/ Commerce Cloud

  • Public Sector

  • Financial Services

Your Impact:

You will evangelize Salesforce by generating new business through inbound and outbound opportunities and conducting high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts to fuel our growth. By working closely with Account Executives, you will create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory. You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana.
 

Your Qualifications:

The experience and skill-set needed to be successful is 1 - 2 years of full-time corporate sales experience (software sales is a plus).
 

We are looking for the following attributes:

  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia/ Bahasa Melayu would be an advantage, as this role needs to converse with clients in the Indonesia/ Malaysia market

  • Prospecting skills, cold calling, business sales experience (Software sales a plus)

  • Strong communication skills and business acumen

  • Competitive and motivated spirit

  • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Resourceful

  • Has a drive for results
