Job Description

The Sales Manager at Google Customer Solutions in Taipei, Taiwan, will recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing sales team. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious business targets, growing client engagement and satisfaction, and analyzing data to develop customer plans. The role demands strong data analysis, coaching sales behaviors (including C-level engagement), and fostering a culture of sales innovation. The ideal candidate will have 8-11 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development (or 8 years with an advanced degree), fluency in English and Mandarin, and a passion for selling and innovation. This role involves managing team operations, KPIs, and driving consistent CRM tracking.

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to manage the client relationships in the area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in People management.
  • Experience in managing performing teams identify, attract and develop diverse, talented people, and create a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Ability to be Independent, takes initiative who thrives on immersion in a rapidly changing environment, with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to own sales team operations portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, execution. Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, competitive selling.
  • Passion for selling with a drive to innovate. Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a client-facing and performing sales team.
  • Deliver against ambitious business product targets, grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in an assigned market.
  • Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop plans for customers while tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent CRM tracking.
  • Model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
  • Ensure team readiness to deliver advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
