As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role within our organization. In today's data-driven landscape, companies recognize the importance of leveraging data to derive valuable insights. However, many struggle to understand who is accessing their data and which specific data is being utilized. In this role, you will empower our clients to take charge of their data and unlock its full potential. This involves collaborating closely with business leaders and information management teams to define and implement a comprehensive roadmap for data management, business intelligence, and analytics solutions. Your expertise will be essential in guiding them toward effective data utilization and strategic decision-making.

Your main tasks/responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and Prioritize Client Data Needs: Work closely with clients to assess their data requirements, ensuring that their unique business objectives and challenges are addressed effectively.
  • Architect Data Solutions: Design and develop advanced data models—conceptual, logical, and physical—that serve as the backbone for effective data utilization, ensuring they align with the overall technical architecture.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with fellow architects, infrastructure specialists, and software engineers to create robust metadata layers and establish a cohesive technical strategy that integrates seamlessly with existing IT systems.
  • Translate Designs into Technical Specifications: Communicate designed solutions to technical teams, providing clear guidance and recommendations, while reviewing and optimizing implementations to enhance performance and usability.
  • Develop Testing Protocols: Actively participate in defining comprehensive testing strategies to ensure that data solutions are reliable, accurate, and meet the specified requirements.
  • Facilitate Data Accessibility and Integrity: Ensure that business stakeholders have access to accurate and understandable data, empowering them to make informed decisions based on reliable insights.
  • Enhance Supporting Processes and Frameworks: Design and implement continuous improvements for supporting activities, including automation of versioning, release management, scheduling, security measures, and assessing the impact of new changes.
  • Oversee End-to-End Data Solutions: Take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of data solutions, ensuring they effectively meet client needs and deliver measurable value to the organization.

  • Clear and Concise Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively, transitioning seamlessly between tasks while maintaining clarity and focus.
  • Collaboration: Skilled in working closely with various business units to identify their needs and uncover analytics opportunities that align with organizational goals. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, complete assigned tasks with precision, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Leadership in Data Conversations: Experienced in leading discussions around data strategies and translating business concepts into actionable data solutions.
  • E2E data project implementation: Skilled in converting business requirements into operational or analytical solution architecture, design and following up the build and testing
  • Data analysis and modeling: Knowledgeable in applying advanced data analysis methods to extract meaningful insights and solve complex business problems. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, Java, or similar tools for data analysis and modeling.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Skilled in using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar platforms to create impactful visualizations and reports.
  • Data Manipulation and Analytics: Experienced in tools like Alteryx, KNIME, RapidMiner, or similar for data preparation and advanced analytics.
  • Data Warehousing Expertise: Knowledgeable in platforms such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, SAP, or similar for managing and storing large-scale data.
  • Data Integration: Experienced in managing data sets and working with ETL processes and data warehouse solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Proficient in integration tools like Databricks, Talend, SSIS, Pentaho, Informatica, or similar to streamline data workflows and processes.
  • Fluency in English and good working knowledge of French
