Job Description

The Senior Digital Strategy Lead, Accelerated Growth Team at Google will manage a portfolio of businesses, driving customer growth by delivering outstanding customer experiences and achieving customer business/marketing goals. This role encompasses the full business cycle, from customer outreach and pitching solutions to implementation and performance evaluation. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to partner with internal teams and coach colleagues. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in digital advertising, possess executive-level engagement skills, and be adept at problem-solving in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include developing and implementing growth strategies, managing risk, building quarterly plans, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to achieve business goals. Experience in Google Ads and YouTube account management is preferred.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, business development, or IT, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience in account management, business, or marketing.
  • Experience in developing and pitching solutions through various channels (e.g., telephone, email, in-person meetings) to prospects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts with the ability to multitask and solve client needs by business techniques, including questioning, objection handling, and engaging promotions.
  • Experience in media across a variety of platforms (e.g., Television (TV), Radio, Print, Sponsorship, etc.).
  • Experience in sales within a technology, advertising, media, or internet environment.
  • Experience in collaborating with advertisers, agencies, and clients, including executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to succeed in a changing environment with excellent thinking and problem-solving skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$168,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identify opportunities for growth, manage risks, and build quarterly plans for achievements.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering an outstanding customer experience and achieve customer business/marketing goals.
  • Own the full business cycle process by driving customer outreach, pitches, solution implementation, and performance evaluation.
  • Engage, support, and build relationships with customers. Partner with the internal Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) Account Manager team to pitch and accelerate business growth. Coach teammates in the organization to develop skills that cultivate customers growth and contribute to overall team success.
  • Model behaviors including executive-level engagement, questioning, objection handling, and promoting. Lead executive-level relationships through executive-level meetings, business reviews, and speaking engagements.
