Job Description

As a Senior Director of Product Management at Zscaler, you'll lead the design and development of Zero Trust Branch Connectivity solutions for Zscaler Internet Access and Private Access. This involves managing a small team, collaborating with engineering and sales, engaging customers to understand requirements, creating PRDs/MRDs, and working with UI/UX and engineering teams to implement solutions. You will build product enhancements and strategy for on-premises and as-a-service offerings. The role requires strong technical expertise in enterprise IoT access, security technologies (IPSec/GRE, routing protocols, SD-WAN, NG-Firewall, ZTNA, VPN, NAC), and experience delivering cloud-based services. You will be responsible for GTM initiatives and the sale and deployment of your products.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Director Product Manager with SD-WAN expertise to join our Zscaler Product team.  You will have a direct impact on building the product from ground up. Reporting to the VP, Product Management, you'll be responsible for:

In this role, you will own one or more product areas and lead the design of solutions on Zero Trust Branch Connectivity for  Zscaler Internet Access and Private Access acting as a player coach with a very small team. 

  • This individual will be responsible for building product enhancements on Zscaler Zero Trust Branch Connectivity product and strategy for both on-prem and as-a service offerings.
  • Manage and lead a very small team of Product Managers reporting in to Vice President of Product Management
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams in product definition and design for access control products
  • Actively engage customers to review use cases and discuss technical requirements related to Branch Connector deployment. Create PRD/MRDs to define the technical requirements for the engineering teams and collaborate with UI/UX and Engineering teams to implement requirements highlighted in the PRD on Zscaler Internet Access platform and support Sales teams for sale and deployment of your products and GTM initiatives.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 12+ years experience in related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Strong technical foundation in enterprise IoT access policy, security and network security technologies (e.g. IPSec/GRE, Routing( OSPF, BGP), SD-WAN, NG- Firewall, Zero Trust Security (ZTNA), VPN, NAC.) and experience delivering products as cloud-based services.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners and executives.
  • Solid experience with engaging technical teams to discuss use cases, review feature/function requirements and define solutions.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$210,000$300,000 USD
