The Senior Legal Counsel will take a leading role in supporting the business with its complex legal requirements. This position involves providing strategic legal guidance on a broad range of corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters, requiring deep expertise in corporate governance, contract law, and multi-jurisdictional compliance. We seek a senior-level professional who excels in combining legal acumen with commercial insight to deliver solutions that both protect the business and drive its growth. Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts within a multi-jurisdictional scope. 
• Leading on corporate law matters and overseeing multifaceted transactions, providing expert guidance to stakeholders. 
• Advising marketing, customer services, technology and other departments and/or stakeholders with regard to the applicable legal requirements on a variety of topics. 
• Conducting advanced research on multi-national regulatory regimes and implementing risk management strategies to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks. 
• Assist with civil or regulatory litigation matters and supervise external counsel as needed.
• Driving collaboration to maintain and enhance corporate governance structures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. 
• Providing leadership, including by delivering training to the stakeholder, on legal matters across the business, ensuring alignment with both legal and commercial goals.
• Generally ensuring the business needs meet legal obligations. 
• Drafting, updating, and maintaining internal policies in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring they reflect best practices and evolving legal standards
• Help, assist and participate in the completion of the ISO27001 or other Information Security Standards implementation and future ongoing recertifications.
• Mentoring and fostering a culture of legal excellence across the organisation.  

About you:

• Minimum of 6  years of relevant legal experience in I-Gaming or inhouse legal counsel, preferably focused on drafting contracts and other legal documents.
• Strong knowledge on corporate and commercial law matter. 
• Good knowledge in IP law and in IP strategy implementation will be considered an asset. 
• Very detail oriented, highly organised, works efficiently and takes ownership of work. 
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask, prioritise and follow through on numerous assignments simultaneously. 
• Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills. 
• Positive outlook and can-do attitude.
• Business oriented and creative in finding the right solutions.
