The Senior Manager, Ads Marketing - Content, Narratives & Scaled Channels at Netflix will oversee the creation of engaging content and narratives for advertisers and brands. Responsibilities include developing content strategies, producing go-to-market materials, ensuring brand messaging alignment, and activating strategies across various channels (website, social media, newsletters). This role requires strong writing and storytelling skills, strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis. The successful candidate will help establish new processes and channels, track campaign performance, and manage stakeholder relationships, working closely with global and regional teams to drive growth for Netflix Ads.

The Team

The Ads Marketing team shapes our core advertising positioning and drives the go-to-market strategy to bring this positioning to life through compelling, differentiated messaging and narratives. By activating these messages across both sales channels (presentations, materials, talking points, events) and broader non-sales channels, the team builds widespread awareness and excitement among our key advertising partners. You will report to the Head of Ads Marketing, UCAN, based in Los Angeles.

The Opportunity 

The UCAN Content, Narratives & Scaled Channels Senior Manager will oversee the development of compelling, informative content and narratives that engages advertisers, brands and supports sales goals. You’ll develop content strategies and produce a variety of go-to-market materials that highlight Netflix Ads’ expertise and value. Working closely with the broader marketing team, you’ll ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and objectives. 

Additionally, you will help activate strategies to amplify the Netflix Ads' B2B presence across scaled channels, including the website, social media, newsletters, and more. This role works closely with both global and regional teams to develop impactful, localized marketing strategies that drive growth for Netflix Ads. Joining at a pivotal moment in the team’s expansion, you will establish new processes and channels that will become integral to our marketing mix. Success in this role requires excellent writing skills, a strong storytelling ability, and strategic thinking to effectively reach and resonate with target audiences.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of relevant, resonant content that speaks to the needs and interests of media agency buyers and brand marketers, addressing key challenges and showcasing Netflix Ads’ unique value.

  • Channel Strategy Development: Implement the scaled channels strategy across UCAN, overseeing the deployment to global regions for key channels such as the B2B website, LinkedIn, newsletters, and strategic non-traditional channels.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with the Creative, Research, Consumer Insights, Legal, Integrated Marketing and Marketing to ensure we deliver a cohesive marketing strategy, ensuring messaging consistency and alignment with broader business goals.

  • Audience Targeting & Engagement: Develop and refine audience targeting and engagement strategies to reach key stakeholders, including media agencies and brand advertisers, maximizing the impact of campaigns across all scaled channels.

  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Regularly track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of scaled channel initiatives, using insights to make data-driven adjustments to enhance future campaigns.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact with local and global leadership for key deliverables, liaising with internal and external partners to align on objectives, share best practices, and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Content Marketing Strategy: Collaborate closely with global counterparts to build a content marketing strategy aligned with Netflix Ads' goals, ensuring content drives engagement and supports broader marketing initiatives.

  • Industry Awareness & Adaptation: Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and regional marketing shifts, adapting strategies as needed to ensure Netflix Ads remains competitive and responsive to market demands.

Qualifications:

  • 12-15+ years of experience in B2B marketing or marketing communications, with a strong focus on audience engagement and content distribution.

  • Proven expertise in B2B website content creation (non-technical) with brand messaging, case studies, ad formats and audience insights.

  • Proven expertise in product positioning, narrative crafting, and collateral development to support brand and marketing objectives.

  • Familiarity with the CTV, OTT, or streaming landscape, and knowledge of programmatic advertising and CTV best practices, particularly in content localization.

  • Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms, such as Pardot , MailChimp or Marketo, to manage, distribute, and analyze campaigns effectively.

  • Solid experience in social media and digital marketing, with a focus on amplifying content through strategic use of platforms like LinkedIn and paid digital channels.

  • Skilled in managing agency relationships, coordinating workflows, and driving innovation in non-traditional B2B channels to effectively reach target audiences.

  • Familiarity with CTV, OTT, or the streaming landscape is a plus.

  • Strong aptitude for cross-functional collaboration, working with teams across product, sales, and design to align distribution efforts with overall marketing goals.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and using data insights to adjust strategies and optimize channel impact.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $300,000 - $450,000.
