Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and highly motivated Social Media Manager to drive engagement, grow our audience, and enhance brand visibility across social platforms. This individual will play a key role in shaping Interactive Films’ social media presence, crafting compelling campaigns, and fostering community engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in the entertainment or tech industry and a deep understanding of social media trends, particularly as they relate to mobile-first audiences.

The ideal candidate will be fully ingrained in the world of vertical episodic dramas, having a deep understanding and appreciation for the tropes, trends, and subject matter that consistently perform in the space, as well as the buzz-worthy multimedia advertising methods that propel the top IPs to success.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in similar roles for app-based organizations bridging the Western and non-Western vertical drama markets, including ReelShort, FlexTV, DramaBox, ShortMax, GalateaTV, Playlet, and DreameShort.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Execution:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with SaltyTV’s’ brand voice, marketing goals, and content calendar.
  2. Create and curate platform-specific content, including short-form videos, memes, GIFs, stories, and posts optimized for channels like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
  3. Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging and innovative content for Interactive Films, including SaltyTV and future products.
  4. Report on and drive activations based on KPIs - using data and analytics to make critical and creative decisions to drive the brands further

Community Engagement:

  • Actively monitor and engage with Interactive Films’ audience across platforms, fostering a loyal and engaged community.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and discussions to build relationships with fans and creators.

On-Set and Talent Collaboration:

  • Capture behind-the-scenes (BTS) content during production to share exclusive insights with the audience.
  • Work closely with talent to create bespoke content for social media platforms.
  • Organize and coordinate social media takeovers by influencers and talent to amplify brand reach.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns and drive growth.
  • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform insights) to measure engagement, reach, and ROI.

Collaboration & Partnerships:

  • Leading the charge in conceptualizing and securing collaboration partnerships
  • Work closely with the content, creative, and paid media teams to ensure alignment on campaigns and messaging.
  • Collaborate with influencers, creators, and partners to amplify reach and engagement.

Trendspotting & Innovation:

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices in the social media and entertainment landscape.
  • Experiment with new features and platforms to keep Interactive Films’ social media presence fresh and relevant.

Qualifications:

3 years of professional experience managing social media accounts, preferably in entertainment, mobile apps, or digital media.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Skills:

  • Proficiency with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and related tools (e.g., scheduling and analytics software).
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and visual content creation skills.
  • Knowledge of vertical video trends and mobile-first storytelling.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
