Job Description
The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) team is seeking an automation engineer for its Media Services QA team. This role focuses on developing tools, frameworks, and applications to support client-to-server automation testing. The ideal candidate will have an interest in ASE products, a drive for improving data quality, and experience with innovative tools and technologies. Responsibilities include building tools and frameworks for QA automation testing, with a good understanding of full-stack development, service infrastructures, and data analytics.
Must have:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Swift, Python, Java, or SQL
- 5+ years experience in QA automation tools/frameworks
- Good understanding of full-stack development
- Strong skills in Kubernetes, Docker, CICD pipelines
- Understanding of data analytics and machine learning concepts
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
- Experience with Big Data technologies (HDFS, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra)
- Experience with near real-time (NRT) and Batch data pipelines
- Self-motivated and able to contribute in a team environment
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Good soft skills, especially listening and collaboration
- Willingness to work multi-functionally
- Experience with ML model training or fine-tuning
- Experience building enterprise ML applications with Pytorch, Scipy, Scikit-learn

- B.S.or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Swift, Python or Java, SQL.

- Good understanding of full-stack development including back-end services and front-end UI design in Javascript or Typescript.
- Strong skills in building and developing with service infrastructures such as Kubernetes, Docker, CICD pipelines.
- Understanding of data analytics, data interrelationships and data pipeline.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g. HDFS, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra)
- Experience with near real-time (NRT) and Batch data pipelines
- This position demands a self-motivated individual with strong technical who can contribute in a team environment.
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
