About the Team Video Infrastructure is a world-leading video platform that provides multi-media storage, delivery, transcoding, and streaming services. We are building the next generation video processing platform and the largest live streaming network, which provides excellent experiences for billions of users around the world. Popular video products of TikTok and its affiliates are all empowered by our cutting-edge cloud technologies. Working in this team, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenges of large-scale networks all over the world, while leveraging your expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design. What you will be doing: 1. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of TikTok's video architecture basic services backend. 2. Design and develop high-traffic and high-concurrency online systems. 3. Research new technologies related to big data platforms and provide feasible solutions for business analysis and data applications.

Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related fields. 2. Solid programming skills, excellent design, and good coding style. 3. Proficient in one of the mainstream programming languages, such as Golang/C/C++/Java/Python. 4. Deep understanding of computer principles and a good foundation in data structures and algorithms. 5. Familiar with common backend components such as MySQL, Redis, and message queues. 6. Familiar with big data components such as HDFS, HBase, Hive, Spark, and Flink is preferred.
