As a Sr. Business Value Engineer, you'll analyze client needs, quantify the value of our solutions, and communicate this value through compelling presentations and ROI models. Strong financial modeling, communication, and client-facing experience are crucial for success in this role.
As a Sr. Business Value Engineering you will play a critical role in helping our clients and internal stakeholders understand, quantify, and communicate the value that our solutions bring to their businesses. You will work closely with sales, product management, and consulting teams to create compelling value propositions, develop financial models, and deliver impactful presentations, proposals and ROI models. Your analytical expertise and business acumen will be crucial in driving strategic decision making and ensuring that our clients achieve their desired outcomes.
Value Assessment & Quantification:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and quantify the business impact of our solutions
- Develop detailed financial models that demonstrate the ROI, cost savings, and revenue generation potential of our offerings
- Conduct in depth business analysis to understand client needs, pain points, and growth opportunities
Value Communication:
- Create and deliver customized presentations that articulate the value proposition of our solutions in a compelling and clear manner
- Support the sales team in client engagements by providing value based selling tools and resources
- Develop case studies, white papers, and other collateral that highlight the success stories and business value achieved by our clients
Strategy & Advisory:
- Advise clients on best practices and strategic initiatives that align with their business goals and maximize the value of their investments
- Work with product management to align our offerings with market demands and client needs, ensuring that our value propositions are continually refined and relevant
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify industry trends and benchmark our solutions against competitors
Collaboration & Enablement:
- Partner with cross functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment on value messaging and go to market strategies
- Train and mentor sales and customer success teams on value engineering methodologies and tools
- Develop and maintain a repository of value engineering assets and resources
Skills and knowledge you possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in business value engineering, financial analysis, management consulting, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to create complex business cases and ROI analyses
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence decision makers
- Experience working in a client facing role, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of business processes and value drivers
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems)
Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed)
- Experience in the Video industry
- Familiarity with value based selling methodologies
- Proven track record of driving successful business outcomes through value engineering
Targeted Base Salary Range: $122,400 to $187,000
The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
