Strategic Account Manager, Insurance

Location(s): Boston, MA, Windsor CT | Hybrid

Get To Know The Team: 

The SS&C Sales team is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to support their Insurance segment. This role will report directly to the Director of Sales

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Manage strategic Insurance client relationships.
  • Expand (cross-sell/up-sell) and retain revenue streams with existing Insurance clients.
  • Development and execution of strategic sales plans by utilizing direct marketing strategies, account penetration, sales process management and marketing support materials.
  • Effectively utilizing SS&Cā€™s team of product and industry experts to advance the sales effort.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, competitive technology/solutions and potential new product and service opportunities for SS&C.
  • Working closely with the senior-level management of SS&C and clients.

What You Will Bring: 

  • 5+ years of strategic account management experience in SaaS.
  • Team player, self- motivated with excellent presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, with extensive expertise in preparing win-win sales scenarios.
  • Fluent English skills, written and spoken.
  • Excel/reporting/MS Powerpoint expertise.
  • Project implementation/management experience, preferably with SaaS.
  • Familiarity with conflict resolution, de-escalation, and positive influencing.
  • Experience in the Insurance segment servicing and selling software and outsourcing for middle to back-office operations
